Throughout our projects, we continuously strive to provide timely and effective recommendations to our clients, and consistently liaise with Regulatory Agencies to maintain confident and positive relationships. We believe in transparency, sound and ethical business practices, and the development of long term relationships with clients, regulators, and contractors. Our primary objective is to assist our clients achieve their development goals, while respecting project constraints and assuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

ECODynamic Solutions (EDS) Inc. is a group of professionals specialized in providing environmental services for construction projects. Our core staffs are trained and experienced in working in and around heavy equipment, and they understand well the various relationships between developers, contractors, First Nations, the community at large, the environment, and the law.

 

All of our personnel are provided with industry-leading professional development opportunities, which allow our project teams to remain up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry practices. We continuously strive to improve our internal processes to maximize work efficiency and product quality. Our goal is to be recognized as industry leaders in the field of Construction Environmental Management in British Columbia.

First Nations Relationships (top)

 

Our personnel have developed positive and successful working relationships with several First Nations across the Province. We strongly believe in integration and cooperation with First Nation communities, and have witnessed the multi-faceted benefits of these successful relationships in the community. Over the years, EDS has actively participated in capacity building projects with a number of First Nation Communities on Vancouver Island. Our key staff members have worked with the Nations in consultation, instruction and representation capacities.

 

Most recently, our group worked closely with the Ucluelet First Nations, Hupacasath First Nation, and K'ómoks First Nation on various government and private commercial development projects. We have also worked on industrial developments with the Campbell River Indian Band, the Douglas Indian Band, and the Chehalis Indian Band. Finally, while under contract with Vancouver Island University (formerly Malaspina University-College), EDS has also provided environmental training to members of the Kwakiutl Indian Band, Pacheedaht First Nation, Ditidaht First Nation, and Cape Mudge Indian Band.

We have had the opportunity to work for a number of key clients in different capacities over the years. Our team has a recognized work history in a contractor capacity with government and industry leading corporations such as: BC Hydro, EPCOR Generation Technical Services Inc., Terasen Gas Vancouver Island, British Columbia Timber Sales (BCTS), the City of Nanaimo, Vancouver-Island University (formerly Malaspina University-College), the Hupacasath First Nations, and the Ucluelet First Nation.

 

In the residential and commercial urban development sector, our staffs have provided services to several developers, including: Cottle Creek Ventures Ltd., D.H.A.M Developments Ltd., Mount Benson Developments Inc., Pacific View Developments Ltd., Molecey Pacific Ltd., and numerous smaller private land owners.

 

Over the course of the past few years, our personnel have also worked in a subcontractor capacity to contractors and consultants servicing the BC Ministry of Sustainable Resources, the BC Oil and Gas Commission (OGC), a number of mining exploration corporations, numerous hydropower developers (e.g., Tiickin Power Ltd., Upnit Power Corporation, Cloudworks Energy Ltd., Synex Energy/Sigma Engineering Ltd., Summit Power Ltd., TransCanada, Brookfield Power, etc.), and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
