EDS is a B.C. registered environmental consulting firm specialized in the provision of construction environmental management and monitoring services, erosion and sediment control planning, underwater acoustic pressure monitoring, compliance and performance inspection services, and land development planning. We provide technical services to industry, First Nations, and governments on all environmental aspects of construction projects, with a focus on fisheries and aquatic issues. Our services include strategic advice, environmental management and planning, liaisons with regulatory agencies and permit acquisition, field assessment and collection of baseline data, instream habitat construction supervision, and construction environmental monitoring. 

 

Our expertise lies in monitoring and mitigating the effects of construction developments in key industries of British Columbia; particularly those pertaining to hydroelectric developments and operation (IPP), urban and linear developments, mining, forestry, and oil and gas. Our staff is experienced in working with construction contractors in both freshwater and marine environments. With a strong background in applied fisheries sciences and water quality, combined with experience in erosion protection and sediment control planning, our professionals can provide expert advice on all aspects of development in and around water. We are well versed in the pertinent aspects of environmental regulations that govern land development in B.C. We provide quality assurance that projects are built in adherence to the environmental specifications set forth in applicable regulations and legislation.
